This black leather Dries Van Noten clutch is the sort of thing that you think should be easy to find, but in fact is relatively scarce. The execution is perfection - soft and smooth, with the ease of a magnetic closure. Sleek, yet somewhat utilitarian and totally luxury!

Accessorize with Margiela!
We adore these Martin Margiela travel slippers. They are perfect for wearing around the house, and even better for taking on the plane. We're the kind of gals who are always dressing up in high heels, so its very convenient for us to have a collapsable ballet flat handy for when we leave the party! The red pair is made in buttery leather, the gold is silk. Both have suede soles, both size 37.
For those who lean towards understatement but still value a nice bold shape, these leather cuffs are for you. Their design is beyond simplicity, with the only hardware being their closure (and the signature logo stamped into the leather).

Vintage Goodies!
This little black dress with lace sleeves is beyond perfect. We really don't have much to say about it other than that! / Did we mention that this lace dress is chartreuse? Let the color do the talking, this shift is absolutely evil in the best way possible.
This white lacey floral dress has all of the potential in the world - we're imagining it worn over a bandeau and hotpants, probably with ankle boots as well. Or you can keep it demure with a slip and skinny belt. It's your choice! / Is it Prada? Is it Kenzo? Nope! It's a perfectly vintage floral skirt suit! It still packs a punch when broken up into separates, but we adore the two pieces worn together... (All SOLD but bottom right)

This just in! New pieces at Eva Gentry Consignment!
The brown double breasted jacket to the left is initially classic, but once you see the tightly pleated fabric it is very obviously Issey Miyake! The jacket to right is a feminine take on a military blazer by Emporio Armani (SOLD).
We are in love with this red floral figure-hugging dress by Dolce & Gabanna (SOLD) to the left, and the printed cashmere Missoni (SOLD) sweater to the right is pretty irresistible as well.
We loved all of the Maison Martin Margiela pieces with oversized drawstring necks, and are now happy to say that we have one here in pastel pink (left). And we never, ever get sick of Marni (SOLD) jackets -this one is navy blue, featuring concealed snaps and a voluminous collar.

Who's that lady?
Maybe it's because we're tired of seeing drapey and billowy everywhere we turn. Maybe it's because the warm weather has inspired us to try new looks. Maybe it's because we watch too much Mad Men. Whatever the reason, we are fully embracing the sexy, lady-like silhouette of this size 44/46 Dsquared skirt suit.
Daniel's favorite outfit of the moment is perfectly accessorized with size 37 Dolce & Gabbana white pumps and a silk volcanic print Markus Lupfer scarf.

YSL (heart) MARGIELA
Two names in fashion that never really seem to appear in the same sentence are Tom Ford and Maison Martin Margiela. And in the case of these bags it would seem that they really are at two ends of the same spectrum. However, since we at Consignment believe in togetherness and the spirit of fashion brotherhood, we're going to bring these two together in one senetence...as in: These two bags, one by Margiela, the other by Tom Ford for YSL, are FIERCE! Nuff said! (YSL SOLD)

SERIOUS PATTERNS
There are a few great masters of mixing color and pattern to the point of brilliance. And donning a print doesn't mean you have to look silly or juvenile either - this post is about patterned pieces that are elegant, gorgeous, and effortlessly easy to incorporate into everyday dress! Take for example, the Dries Van Noten mixed fabric flats above (size 38) (SOLD)
Another winner from Dries Van Noten - a silk two toned shirt dress, and to the right is a top featuring one of Marni's unique prints (SOLD).
To round out the roster of designers, we have a curvaceous wedge by Prada in an ambiguously ethnic navy and indigo print! (SOLD)

Ode to Iris
These hot summer nights make us think of that ultimate hot summer New York City night movie Taxi Driver. Not that we want to emulate the actions of the film, but Jodi Foster's costumes are amazing (thank you Ruth Morely)! Throw either of these amazing sparkle tops on with some high-waisted jean cut offs, a pair of platform wedges, and some oversize sunglasses and you're there!
